So eto nga ang pinagkakaabalahan ko habang ako’y naka-hiatus mode dito sa Multiply. πŸ˜› Well, not really, busy lang talaga with acads.

 Platform and Project Proposals


A.     Continuing the Primary Functions of the President

  • Head the Executive Committee and preside over all meetings of the Executive Committee and all other matters which concerns the University of the Philippines Pharmaceutical Association (UPPhA)
  • Represent the college in the Federation of Junior Chapters of Philippine Pharmaceutical Association (FJCPPhA)
  • Uphold the good name of the college and stand for what will be good for the College of Pharmacy especially the welfare of the students

 
B.      General and Specific Project Proposals

Consultation

  • Encourage students to state their concerns through democratic consultation and try to find solutions through coordinated efforts with the administration


Harmony

  • Promote good will and camaraderie among students and college organizations by means of a Codified Rules for Organizations in cooperation with the Vice-President


Accessibility

  • Create a UPPhA Website [http://upphaonline.multiply.com] where unified positions of the council regarding local and national issues will be posted
  • Create a UP CP Virtual Community [http://upcollegeofpharmacy.ning.com]


Nurturing the Needs

  • Promote academic excellence by providing a more conducive and friendly environment to motivate students to study
  1. Provide more lockers for the students and install a water dispenser
  2. Advocate for repair of common student facilities (comfort rooms, student lounge, etc.)
  3. Allocate and organize a space for toolboxes of students taking lab subjects


Growth

  • Provide opportunities for holistic development of students


  1. Revitalize the National Pharmacy Week by holding an Alternative Classroom Learning Experience (ACLE) in coordination with the Secretary for External Affairs
  2. Hold a Pharmacy Fair as Pre-Centennial Celebration of our College Foundation


  • Organize regular medical missions for us health care professionals to promote a social understanding of health and well-being leading to a better nation


Engagement

  • Conduct a series of forums to enlighten students regarding different problems and issues of local and national interest (i.e. Return Service Obligation, Student Rights and Welfare Bill, etc.)
