Mikey Admitted at Hospital for Dengue Fever

My brother had fever since Wednesday last week. He went to see a doctor at Paranaque Doctors Hospital but was diagnosed as having only Upper Respiratory Tract Infection. So we thought it was just that. But he started vomiting frequently on Saturday. We rushed him immediately to the emergency and it was found out that his platelet count was very low. They also did other tests and was later diagnosed to have dengue. So my brother is currently admitted at Olivarez General Hospital due to dengue fever. It was a good thing that we did not wait to bring him to the ER til the next day. Otherwise, his platelet count would have gone very low and it might lead to hemorrhage.
