She never used any cleansers and she just applied new makeup on top of the old one. Eww. I was actually shuddering at that thought. It’s like just applying perfume when you don’t want to take a bath.
The results? Her skin got really dry, heavily wrinkled, red, and had larger pores. According to a dermatologist, her skin aged 10 years! Here are the before and after pics:
They say that your skin will age 2 years for every day that you forget remove makeup. Though the math may be wrong based from the experiment, the thought remains.
This made me think back to all those times that I forgot to remove makeup because I was so tired or went to sleep immediately after getting home. Thankfully, my skincare regimen has improved. Upon getting home, I always make it a point to remove makeup thoroughly to make sure that I won’t forget it before going to sleep.
