Last Sunday, Rhalph and I watched Fast & Furious 6 with our friend Paolo at The Cathay. I wore my pink Charmmy Kitty top with black and pink cardigan and black shorts to the movies. And I wore Pretty in Pink themed makeup to match.
Okay, so now let’s move on to the movie…
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of all-stars as the global blockbuster franchise built on speed races to its next continent in Fast & Furious 6. Reuniting for their most high-stakes adventure yet, fan favorites Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Elsa Pataky are joined by badass series newcomers Luke Evans and Gina Carano.
Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian’s (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete. Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez).
The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.
Building on the worldwide blockbuster success of Fast Five and taking the action, stunts and narrative to even greater heights, Fast & Furious 6 sees director Justin Lin back behind the camera for the fourth time. He is supported by longtime producers Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel, who welcome producer Clayton Townsend back to the series. (c) Fox
I was so excited to watch the movie because, well, it is Fast & Furious! The movie was great. There were a lot of breathtaking moments and it seems that my adrenaline was on a rush. The movie was full of action scenes and some comedy ones as well. Though some of action sequences are absurd, insane, and totally impossible, it was still undeniably fun to watch. And at the end, all I can say is… “That was the longest runway I’ve ever seen!” I won’t say more so as not to spoil those who haven’t watched the movie yet.
Here are some epic quotes from the movie:
Dominic Toretto: You’ve got the best crew in the world standing right in front of you, give them a reason to stay.
Owen Shaw: This code you live by makes you predictable. In our line of work predictable makes you vulnerable. I can reach out and break you any time I want.
Brian O’Conner: Maybe the Letty we once knew is gone.
Dominic Toretto: You don’t turn your back on family, even when they do.
Letty Ortiz: You got some serious balls man.
Dominic Toretto: I’ve been told.
Letty Ortiz: You know you’re lucky I missed my shot.
Dominic Toretto: I think you hit your mark.
Letty Ortiz: Really… what is it with you? What, have you got a death wish or something?
Dominic Toretto: If that’s what it takes. I just wanna race.
Letty Ortiz: Might lose your car.
Dominic Toretto: Let’s do it.
Letty Ortiz: Your funeral.
Dominic Toretto: Ride or die, remember?
Tej Parker: You’ve gone from Shaggy to Scooby. This is something we don’t doooo.
Luke Hobbs: Badass, beauty and brains. If i’m not careful, you could be taking my job.
Luke Hobbs: You should hide that big ass forehead of yours.
So… have you watched the movie? What do you think?
